Fix a leak week is march 15-21

Water is vital to the survival of everything on the planet and is limited in supply. The Earth might seem like it has abundant water, but in fact, only 1 percent is available for human use. While the population and the demand on freshwater resources are increasing, supply remains constant.

A proactive water conservation program can help lessen the impact of any potential droughts and other water shortage situations that could occur this summer. PHCC's Water Conservation Initiative challenges consumers to make at least one change in the way they use water, e.g. fix leaking fixtures or pipes, modify a wasteful behavior or install water-efficient products.

Every Drop Counts

PHCC has produced a special water conservation public service announcement. Click here to view the video. For a free download of Windows Media Player if it is not already installed on your computer, click here and select the platform that your computer is using.
