The PHCC of Nevada Education Foundation was created in 2008 as the vehicle for all of the educational activities of the plumbing heating cooling industry. Included are the state approved apprenticeship program and the new management education opportunities.
The foundation is a nonprofit association and has been granted tax exempt status under the IRS Code Section 501(c)(3). This designation means that all contributions made to the foundation will be tax exempt as a charitable contribution. This designation is retroactive to September 2008 when the application was submitted.
The foundation is governed by a 9-member Board of Trustees. Those trustees are appointed by the PHCC of Nevada Board of Directors and serve 1-year terms. The Trustees are:
