The government relations program is linked to the program at PHCC National and we work together to prevent the enactment of unfavorable legislation at the national level. The Capitol Exchange, an e-mail communications forum for PHCC members and national, state and local leaders to discuss legislative and regulatory issues, is available to all PHCC-National Association members, state and local associations. Finally, the government relations program will begin holding a Legislative Day for all of our members in Carson City in the spring of 2011. This meeting offers contractors and staff an opportunity to participate first-hand in the legislative process and actually lobby their legislators on issues of concern to the member and PHCC of Nevada issues.
